Amy is a finalist in the Liverpool Flute Academy Orchestral Audition Competition
In July, Amy spent the week at the Liverpool Flute Academy, where she studied orchestral excerpts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Flute Section and received private lessons with Cormac Henry and Sameeta Gahir. FOr the orchestral competition, Amy was required to play excerpts in a 'blind audition' to the RLPO Flautists at their request. Amy was successful in this round, and completed the 2nd round live to an audience and then received feedback from the RLPO Flautists.
Amy wins London International Music Competition!
In June 2024, Amy entered the London International Music Competition on Flute as part of the Virtuoso II age category. She became a finalist in July 2024, and went on to win the Flute Prize in her age category in August 2024. Amy has since been featured on the London International Music Competition website.
Amy completes her 1st year of Masters

Amy joins the Hoolan Ensemble
Amy was invited to join the Hoolan Ensemble as a multi-instrumentalist. Founded by Molly Sellors and Niall Docherty, the Hoolan Ensemble will be going on tour in October 2024! They will be performing live music across the North of England and Scotland performing new music to early film to raise awareness of the forgotten women in early cinema. Amy performs in masterclass
In May 2024, Amy performed the Gaubert Fantasie to Gitte Marcusson (current RCM Professor) in her masterclass at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Amy passes her LRSM Diploma with Distinction
Amy sat her Licentiate Performance Diploma (LRSM) in December 2023 and passed with Distinction. This exam required her to perform 45 minutes of some of the most challenging repertoire for Flute, discuss the repertoire in high detail to the examining panel and complete a sight-reading exercise. She has received 180 credits with this Diploma.
Amy awarded prestigious scholarships
Following her successful Masters audition, Amy has been awarded the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Trust and Universal Music Sound Foundation Scholarships for the duration of her MMus studies.
