About the event
This concert will be conducted by Scottish percussionist Colin Currie. It features an exciting range of percussion music, some of which will be accompanied by orchestra. The programme will include the following pieces:
Joan Tower, DNA for Five Percussionists
Andrew Keddie, Beat for Percussion Trio
Jennifer Higdon, Splendid Wood for Six Marimba Players
Peter Hughes, Kill Beer and Drink Yourself for 3 Percussionists
John Luther Adams, Drums of Winter
